Mawagala Aids Care (MAC) - Uganda
Confidence in the future
This past year our donor friends helped us with the provision of scholastic materials, books, set boxes and pens, with the provision of school uniforms, by giving us 2 sewing machines and uniform materials. Also they contributed in the school fees.
We received home requirements like mosquito nets, bedsheets, blankets, plates, cups and brackets and with Christmas we got Christmas clothes, soap and vaseline.
17 years, Senior Three Top Care SSS: Through our friends we were able to get scholastic materials, Christmas clothes and tailoring machines. This has helped to improve our class performances and we are being trained to acquire tailoring skills.
18 years, Senior 5 at Kings of Kings SS, Iganga: The most important benefit for me was to get a mosquito net. Before joining this project I often suffered from malaria. This had an deteriorating effect on my performance as I missed classes. Now with the mosquito net my performance improved.
17 years, Senior Four at Top Care SS, Iganga. Before I joined the project my life was not easy because I had no hope to go to school. This project took me back to school and paid my fees. All this has been possible through the support sent to the project by our Dutch friends.
